The Syracuse University School of Architecture and SUNY ESF have brought their students to the project as part of their curriculum to monitor and study how a very old home can become energy efficient - A model to study for older home renovations to be carbon neutral, all electric, and using renewable energy. This home is walking distance to the FM elementary & middle schools, Beard Park, the Village Library, and is across the street from another Village park.
