New electric heat pump tech for this home is currently being tested and studied by Syracuse University. The Syracuse University School of Architecture and SUNY ESF have brought their students to the project as part of their curriculum to monitor and study how a very old home can become energy efficient - A model to study for older home renovations to be carbon neutral, all electric, and using renewable energy. This home is walking distance to the FM elementary & middle schools, Beard Park, the Village Library, and is across the street from another Village park.
